Partner IDO
Following the successful TGE, the platform will transition to a staking-based allocation model. Users will have the opportunity to earn points by staking RAIN and MegaETH, which will directly correlate to their allocation size (maximum commit amount) in Rain rounds. This phase will expand beyond our native ecosystem by supporting BNB and MegaETH while remaining open to projects from any blockchain.
Maximum commit amount
Investors will need to stake a certain amount of rainpoints to participate in Rain Rounds. Meanwhile, the maximum commit amount will be set by us for Publics Rounds
After the Token Generation Event (TGE), users can earn Rainpoints by staking RAIN and MegaETH tokens. These Rainpoints directly correlate to their maximum commit amount, or allocation, for participating in IDOs on the platform. Users can then commit up to their maximum commit amount to participate in the IDO.
The formula for determining the maximum commit amount is:
Maximum Commit Amount = Rainpoints / <num>
WHERE:
Rainpoints: The total number of points accumulated by a user through staking.
<num>: A factor determined by the us when creating a specific Rainlaunch project. This number adjusts the overall allocation pool size relative to the total Rainpoints earned by the community.
Calculating Maximum Commit Amount: Once a new IDO project is launched, the platform calculates each user's maximum commit amount based on their Rainpoints and the project's specific <num> value.
IDO flow
Step 1: Investors connect their wallets to RainMakr
Step 2: Investors select an ongoing after TGEproject in the tab Rainlaunch.
Step 3: Investors review the project information to gather information about the project, its token and the timeline.
Step 4: In the Rain Round, only staked investors can participate. Their maximum commit amount will be determined in accordance with their points. They can ****enter their desired amount of committed USDT, which should not exceed the cap, and click the "Deposit now" button to deposit their committed amount. If all tokens are swapped in the Rain Round, then the Public Round will be skipped. Otherwise, all tokens left will be available for the Public Round
Step 5: In the Public Round, every investor can participate. The process is similar to step 4. We will look at the remaining amount of tokens and determine the maximum commit in this round
Step 6: Investors claim the purchased tokens to their wallet by clicking the "Claim" button. To ensure the stability of the token price, investors can only claim a specific amount of their token when the corresponding claim period begins. In case an investor forgets to claim his/her tokens in a period, they will be available to claim anytime after the start of that corresponding claim period
